OVERVIEW
This two-day boiler operators training is designed for maintenance, plant, stationary or mechanical engineers as well as maintenance personnel who are responsible for boiler maintenance and repairing or troubleshooting existing boilers. This class is AFE certified.
Starting with the basics, attendees will participate in open forums with training videos combined with the instructor’s 35+ years of service in the field and hands-on experience to answer all your boiler system questions and guide you through boiler operation and safety.
Day Two
After guiding you through the design and thermodynamics of day one, attendees will learn specific boiler systems. The overall objective of the workshop is for the recipient to become familiar with boiler and control operation, so that routine maintenance and troubleshooting can easily be accomplished.

Anyone seeking a basic working knowledge of boiler room equipment will benefit from this class. This course provides a certificate approved by the CWEA (California Water Environment Association) and the AFE (Association for Facilities Engineering) and the hours can be applied towards the continuing education requirement for re-certification. This workshop will address the minimum state requirements for boiler operators and can be a part of their training to meet those requirements in order to comply with the law.

Requires: (5) CEU credits every (3) years
Employment Credits: 1 year = 1 credit
Academic Credits: 10 hours = 1 credit
Earned for 2-Day Boiler Class: 8hrs = 1.6 credits
